It’s time for another Kanji lesson! In this video, I will introduce 11 essential Kanji related to “Time.” Since these are all basic Kanji, they are used in many different situations. Let’s practice repeatedly and memorize them little by little! 😊

💡 How to Study / 学習（がくしゅう）の仕方（かた）
1. Meaning and Readings – 意味（いみ）と読（よ）み方（かた）
First, check the basic meaning of each Kanji and how to read it.
最初（さいしょ）に、漢字（かんじ）の基本（きほん）の意味（いみ）と読（よ）み方（かた）を確認（かくにん）しましょう。
2. Practice with Examples – 言葉（ことば）の例（れい）をみて、練習（れんしゅう）する
Let’s practice the example words aloud. Listen to my voice and try to mimic me. Pay attention to the intonation as well!
言葉（ことば）の例（れい）を声（こえ）に出（だ）して練習（れんしゅう）しましょう。私（わたし）の声（こえ）を聞（き）いて、まねしてくださいね。イントネーションにも気（き）を付（つ）けましょう。

Knowing the basic meaning helps you understand the word!
– 基本（きほん）の意味（いみ）を覚（おぼ）えると、意味（いみ）を知（し）ることができます！
The basic meaning of “毎” is “every.” In the video, we studied 4 words using “毎“:
「毎」の基本（きほん）の意味（いみ）は「every」です。動画（どうが）の中（なか）で「毎」を使（つか）う 4つの言葉（ことば）を 勉強（べんきょう）しました。
- 毎日 (まいにち / mainichi) = every day
- 毎朝 (まいあさ / maiasa) = every morning
- 毎月 (まいつき / maitsuki) = every month
- 毎年 (まいとし / maitoshi) = every year
There are many other words that use “毎.”
このほかにも、「毎」が使（つか）われる言葉（ことば）は たくさんあります。
For example:
- 毎 + 週 (week)
→ 毎週 (まいしゅう / maishuu) = every week - 毎 + 回 (times / counter for occurrences)
→ 毎回 (まいかい / maikai) = every time
If you know the basic meaning of a Kanji, you can often guess the meaning of a word even if you don’t know how to read it yet! ― Of course, let’s study and memorize the readings too! 😃 漢字（かんじ）の基本（きほん）の意味（いみ）を知（し）っていると、漢字（かんじ）を読むことはできなくても、意味を予想（よそう）することができますよ。
