Learn the “Masu-form ( – ます )” first!
The form of a verb ending in “-ます/ -masu” is called the “Masu-form” or “ます形 (masu-kei)”. In this video, I introduce verbs in the Masu-form. By learning this form, you can make polite sentences.
In Japanese culture, using casual words with someone you meet for the first time can sometimes sound impolite. Therefore, I recommend starting with the Masu-form!
