短（みじか）いお話（はなし）：学校（がっこう）
Here is Vol. 02 of our Short Story series! The theme this time is “School.” Let’s practice listening and reading about a student’s daily life. I recorded this audio with my own voice, so please listen to it repeatedly to get used to natural Japanese pronunciation!
短（みじか）いお話（はなし）のvol.02です！ 今回（こんかい）のテーマは 「学校（がっこう）」です。 学生（がくせい）の生活（せいかつ）についての話（はなし）を 聞（き）いたり 読（よ）んだりして 練習（れんしゅう）しましょう！ 今回（こんかい）も 私（わたし）の声（こえ）を 録音（ろくおん）しました。 自然（しぜん）な日本語（にほんご）の 発音（はつおん）に 慣（な）れるように、くり返（かえ）し 聞（き）いてくださいね。

💡 How to Study / 学習（がくしゅう）の仕方（かた）
1. Check Vocabulary ー 単語（たんご）を確認（かくにん）する
Please check the important words used in the story. Let’s practice saying them aloud after my voice!
お話（はなし）に 出（で）てくる 大切（たいせつ）な言葉（ことば）を 確認（かくにん）してください。 私（わたし）のあとに 続（つづ）いて 声（こえ）に出（だ）してみましょう。
2. Listen at a Slow Speed ー ゆっくりのスピードで聞（き）く
Listen at a slow speed. Can you catch the words you checked in step 1? In “Level 2”, there are no Furigana (reading aids for Kanji). Can you still understand the story without them?
ゆっくりのスピードで 聞（き）きましょう。 １で確認（かくにん）した 単語（たんご）を 聞（き）き取（と）ることが できますか？「Level 2」ではふりがな（＊）がありません。ふりがなが なくても、聞き取ることができますか？
＊ふりがな ＝ 漢字（かんじ）の 読（よ）み方（かた）を書（か）いた ひらがな
3. Challenge the Natural Speed ー ナチュラルスピードで聞（き）く
Once you can follow the slow version, try listening at the natural speed!
ゆっくりのスピードで聞（き）き取（と）れるようになったら、ナチュラルスピードで聞（き）いてみましょう！
4. Reading Aloud ー 声（こえ）に出（だ）して読（よ）む
Go back to “Level 1” or “Level 2” (slow speed) and practice reading along this time.
ゆっくりのスピードの「Level 1」や「Level 2」に戻（もど）って、今度（こんど）は読（よ）む練習（れんしゅう）をしましょう。
5. Try Shadowing! ー シャドーイングにチャレンジ！
For those who want to improve further, try shadowing at the natural speed!

✨ Grammar Point / 文法（ぶんぽう）のポイント
- Gakkoo ni itte imasu (I go to school) ← “~te imasu” form for habits.
学校に行（い）っています ← 習慣（しゅうかん）：「〜ています」のかたち - Tesuto ga arimashita (There was a test) ← “~mashita” form for past events.
テストがありました ← 過去（かこ）：「〜ました」のかたち - Muzukashikatta desu (It was difficult) ← “~katta desu” for the past tense of adjectives.
難（むずか）しかったです ← 過去（かこ）：「〜かったです」のかたち
