短（みじか）いお話（はなし）：スーパーマーケット
Let’s practice listening to and reading a simple short story! This story is about “Going to the supermarket.” I recorded this audio with my own voice, not AI, to help you get used to natural Japanese. Please listen to it repeatedly and enjoy learning together!
今回（こんかい）は 簡単（かんたん）な 短（みじか）いお話（はなし）を 聞（き）いたり 読（よ）んだりする 練習（れんしゅう）をしましょう！「スーパーマーケットへ行（い）く」というお話です。この動画（どうが）の 音声（おんせい）は AIではなく、私（わたし）が心（こころ）を込（こ）めて 録音（ろくおん）しました。 自然（しぜん）な日本語（にほんご）に 慣（な）れるために、繰（く）り返（かえ）し 聞（き）いてくださいね。

「今日（きょう）」
(Incorrect) kyoo → (Correct) kyou
Although it sounds like “oo”, the correct spelling in Romaji is “kyou”. I’m sorry for the confusion!

💡 How to Study / 学習（がくしゅう）の仕方（かた）
1. Check Vocabulary and Pronunciation
単語（たんご）の意味（いみ）と発音（はつおん）を確認（かくにん）する
Before listening to the story, let’s check the keywords used in the video. Practice pronouncing them after my voice!
お話を聞く前に、動画で使われているキーワードを確認しましょう。私の音声（おんせい）の後に、単語を発音しましょう。
2. Listen at a Slow Speed
ゆっくりのスピードで聞（き）く
First, I will read at a slow speed. Can you catch the words you just checked? Don’t worry if you can’t understand everything at first. Your ears will get used to it!
はじめに、ゆっくりのスピードで読（よ）みます。確認した単語を聞きとることができますか？さいしょは聞き取れなくても大丈夫ですよ。繰り返し聞くと、耳（みみ）が慣（な）れてきます。
3. Challenge the Natural Speed
ナチュラルスピードで聞（き）く
Once you can understand the slow version, try the natural speed! If it feels too difficult, you can always go back to the slow one.
ゆっくりのスピードで聞き取れるようになったら、ナチュラルスピードにチャレンジ！難しいと思ったら、ゆっくりのスピードに戻（もど）ってもいいですよ。
4. Reading Practice
読（よ）む練習（れんしゅう
Try reading aloud along with the slow version of my voice. You can pause or rewind the video as needed!
ゆっくりのスピードの私の声（こえ）の後に続いて読む練習をしましょう。動画を途中で止めたり、戻ったりしてもいいですよ。
5. Try Shadowing to improve your skills more!
もっと上手（じょうず）になりたい人はシャドーイング！
If you can read smoothly, try shadowing at the natural speed! It’s challenging!

このお話（はなし）の文（ぶん）は、すべて過去（かこ）の形（かたち）です。過去の形を覚えると、何（なに）をしたか話（はな）すことができるようになります。
- 【Future/Habit】 Ikimasu → 【Past】 Ikimashita
【未来・習慣】行（い）きます → 【過去】行（い）きました - 【Future/Habit】 Kaimasu → 【Past】 Kaimashita
【未来・習慣】買（か）います → 【過去】買（か）いました
Example 例（れい）:
Yesterday, I went to the bakery.
＝ 昨日（きのう）、パン屋（や）へ行（い）きました。/ kinou, pan ya e ikimashita
💡“へ” is written as “he” but pronounced as “e” when used as a particle.
