The teacher said:
バスは、9時20分に学校を出ます。
(Basu wa, kuji nijuupun ni gakkou o demasu.)
The bus leaves the school at 9:20.
The question was:
バスは何時に出発しますか。
(Basu wa nanji ni shuppatsushimasu ka? )
What time does the bus depart?
Therefore,
the answer is 「9時20分」 (Kuji nijuupun / 9:20).
